Job summary

ThoughtStorm Inc. is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support an enterprise IT environment in Toronto.

You will lead Agile ceremonies, coach teams, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with Product Owners and stakeholders. You should have strong Business Analysis skills, hands-on experience with Jira/Confluence, and familiarity with DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and Docker/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field.
• Toronto-based candidates able to work 5 days onsite preferred.
• Experience leading Agile ceremonies and coaching teams.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with strong Agile, Business Analysis, and DevOps experience to support an enterprise IT environment.

• Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies, coach teams, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong experience with Scrum methodology, backlog management, user stories, and Product Owner collaboration.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Business Analysis skills including requirements gathering, process modeling, BPMN, gap analysis, and process documentation.
• Experience working with DevOps teams, bridging development and operations in a technical environment.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience tracking Agile metrics such as Velocity and Burndown to improve team performance.
• CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master, or similar Agile certification is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field required; Toronto-based candidates able to work 5 days onsite preferred.
