Job summary

Alithya is seeking a skilled Scrum Master to drive Agile practices across multiple teams in Canada. You will facilitate Scrum events, protect the team's focus, and partner with the Product Owner to maintain a clear backlog and roadmap.

With at least five years in technology and three years as a Scrum Master, you will mentor teams, promote continuous improvement, and implement Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, Advanced Roadmaps) to enhance collaboration and delivery.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science or related field.
• Scrum certifications or related certifications.
• Minimum 5 years in technology with 3+ years as Scrum Master.
• Experience managing multiple teams.
• Experience delivering large-scale programs with integrated planning.
• Mastery of Scrum concepts.
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools: Confluence, Jira, Advanced Roadmaps.

Your role, your impact

As a Scrum Master, you’ll be at the heart of our Agile approach, playing an essential role in ensuring the efficiency and cohesion of our teams. You’ll be responsible for creating an atmosphere of collaboration and facilitating communication between all team members. Your expertise will guide teams towards achieving their goals by adopting Scrum best practices and fostering a motivating work environment.

Facilitate Scrum events and relationships between different stakeholders;

Accompany and support the team and stakeholders to improve ways of working and gain maturity;

Contribute to the organization of the team to improve its performance and maturity, reduce wasted time and simplify its execution;

Create a work environment that promotes skill development, teamwork, creativity and recognition of the achievements of team members;

Expose the team to best development practices;

Support the product owner (PO) in their practice and development, as well as in establishing, prioritizing and updating the product backlog to ensure the successful delivery of the team's initiatives and roadmap;

Participate in the continuous improvement of Agile practices;

Support the evolution of agility within the organization.

Keys to your success

University degree in computer science or a related field;

Scrum certifications or other relevant certifications;

Minimum 5 years of experience in the technology field, including 3 years as a Scrum Master;

Proven experience managing multiple teams;

Participation in large-scale deliveries involving integrated planning of multiple products or teams;

Mastery of Scrum concepts;

Knowledge of Atlassian suite tools (Confluence, Jira, Advanced Roadmaps).

Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, an intermediate level of English is required , in particular to communicate on a frequent basis with employees and managers outside of Quebec .
