Job summary

Whitehorse Chamber is seeking a detail‑oriented candidate to assist the press operator with setup and take down, coat and expose screens, and prepare them for print in a warm environment. Strong communication with the team is essential.

You will clean ink from screens, perform quality control, and assist with receiving product as necessary. Basic computer skills and familiarity with graphic design are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of computers; experience with graphic design is an asset.
• Ability to stand for long periods in a warm environment; high attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Assist press operator with setup and take down of all jobs.
• Clean ink from screens after each print run using cleaning products and emulsion remover.
• Quality control
• Assist with receiving product as necessary
• Coating screens with emulsion
• Exposing screens and preparing them for print
• Communicating with the team to address print imperfections so they can be corrected
