JOB TITLE

Screen Printer

REPORTS TO

Director of Facilities & Production

MAIN OBJECTIVE

To deliver consistent, high-quality finished goods

JOB OVERVIEW

Coordinate orders in accordance with established schedules. Verify that all materials are available and prepped correctly based on order requirements. Set up and adjust screen printing equipment, as well as accurately troubleshoot issues to produce high-quality products. Maintain and track supplies inventory within the department and ensure machine maintenance is performed on a routine basis. Ensure printers on shift are trained and ware of department procedures, while reporting concerns to business manager that may hinder production deadlines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Handle confidential information in an appropriate manner
  • Facilitate and connect with a diverse group setting and provide one-to-one communications
  • Write effective program reports in a timely manner
  • When required, participate in all production meetings and collaboration on orders
  • Work within production to support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term goals in line with company vision and values
  • Assist in training personnel when assigned
  • Coordinate and consult with co-workers to accomplish the work required to produce embroidered goods
  • Constructively handle and resolve customer concerns promptly and courteously
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team
  • Work with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction, quality products, and on-time delivery.
  • Ensure all safety practices are in place and adhered to
  • Use and maintain equipment in good working order

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Solve problems creatively while demonstrating high integrity
  • Experience working with persons with multiple and complex challenges in transitioning to training and employment
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and networking skills,
  • Current Criminal Record Check and Social Development Check
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Lift up to 50lbs
  • Stand up to 7 hours or more per shift with frequent bending and twisting
  • Experience in press-transfers considered an asset
