Job summary

The Renfrew County District School Board seeks a School & Yard Supervisor for Herman Street Public School in Petawawa, ON. The role covers two 1-hour blocks each school day (11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 1:40 p.m.–2:40 p.m.).

Term is for the 2026-2027 school year with potential renewal subject to Ministry funding. A current vulnerable sector screening and acceptable educational qualifications are required. Equity and accessibility commitments are emphasized.

Qualifications

SCHEDULE:

2 hrs/day - Monday-Friday: 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. & 1:40 p.m. - 2:40 p.m.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent;
• Dependable and reliable;
• Capable of making sound decisions in order to ensure the safety of all students;
• Ability to communicate with, and relate to, students, staff and the general public in a professional, confidential manner.

TERM: For the school days of the 2026-2027 school year; may be renewed for subsequent school years but will be subject to Ministry funding.

Hiring will follow the requirements outlined in RCDSB Administrative Procedures.
