Job summary

Cornwall Alternative School is seeking a professional Driver to join our team. You will transport children in grades 7 and 8 safely to and from homes within Regina, using a 15-passenger van. The role requires following a scheduled route, maintaining order, and complying with passenger transport regulations.

Applicants should have a Saskatchewan Class 5 license, a clean driving record, and a valid vulnerable sector check. Prior driver experience is an asset; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Current SK Class 5 or higher Driver's License.
• Clean driving record.
• Sound knowledge of the City of Regina.
• Clean criminal record including vulnerable sector check.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Exemplary communication skills specifically with children of all ages.
• Driver's Abstract from SGI.
• First aid training or a second language, an asset.
• Previous experience as a professional driver (taxi, school bus, etc.) is an asset.
• Saskatchewan Safety Council Defensive Driving for Passenger Vans training is an asset (MUST be obtained before starting employment).

Cornwall Alternative School is seeking a professional Driver to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the safe transportation of children in grades 7 and 8 to and from their homes within the City of Regina to Cornwall Alternative School. Our professional drivers possess the unique ability of following the scheduled route for pickups and stops while maintaining order among the students in a school provided 15-passenger van. The successful candidate(s) must practice safe driving techniques, have excellent communication with our students and their parents/guardians and observe strict passenger transport regulations.
