The Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB) is seeking a Library Technician for St. Leonard School to operate the Learning Commons, promote literacy and coordinate volunteers.

Requirements include a Library Technician or Information Science credential, 2 years of related experience, proficiency with Insignia, Google Suite and AV equipment; the position begins Oct 27, 2026, with 1.0 FTE prorated for the 10-month term, and benefits.

Qualificações

• Degree/diploma in Library Technician or Information Science.
• 2 years of related experience.
• Comfortable with Insignia or similar library software.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and AV equipment.
• Ability to promote literacy and use new technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Operates the Learning Commons in an automated/digital environment.
• Promotes authors, books, literacy, technology and holds events.
• Performs administrative functions for the Learning Commons and school.
• Coordinates volunteers’ activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
