Job summary

Bluewater District School Board is seeking a qualified applicant for a Temporary General Maintenance position (40 hours per week) in Owen Sound. The role reports to the Supervisor - Facilities Services and runs Monday to Friday, day shift, with an immediate start and a scheduled end date of November 27, 2026.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, preferably in a technical program.
• Experience directly related to warehouse management in an industrial, commercial or large institutional facility.
• Minimum of three or more years in a commercial or institutional setting.

Responsibilities

• Respond to repairs and maintenance needs of the system.
• Perform service, maintenance and related duties for board buildings, equipment and sites.
• Work as part of a team with maintenance staff and other departments.
• Prioritize work orders and manage time under supervision.
