Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE) is seeking a Custodian to support the Operations Services Department. You will help maintain the cleanliness, safety and appearance of school facilities, performing cleaning and maintenance tasks in a proactive and professional manner.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, flexibility to work day/evening/night shifts, and basic computer skills. Prior janitorial experience is an asset, and employment follows the NSUPE collective agreement.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs to perform janitorial duties.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Able to work day, evening and night shifts.
• Previous janitorial experience is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain clean, sanitary and attractive appearance of school buildings and facilities.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties in a professional, safe manner.
• Follow policies and procedures of HRCE and the Operations Services Department.
