The Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE) is seeking a dedicated Custodian to support the Operations Services Department. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of school buildings and facilities, performed in a professional, proactive and safe manner in line with HRCE policies.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift 50 lbs, basic computer skills, and availability for day, evening, and night shifts.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs to perform cleaning duties.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to work day, evening and night shifts.
• Previous janitorial experience is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain clean, sanitary and attractive appearance of school buildings and facilities.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties in a professional, efficient, proactive and safe manner.
• Follow policies and procedures of the Department and the Halifax Regional Centre for Education.
