Halifax Regional Centre for Education is seeking a Caretaker to support the Operations Services Department in maintaining a clean, safe, and secure school facility. The role includes supervising assigned staff and ensuring daily operations run smoothly to meet high standards of appearance and function.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, custodial experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and basic MS Office skills.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years HRCE custodial experience or three years alternate janitorial experience.
• Ability to lift 50lbs to perform cleaning and janitorial duties.
• Experience working in Microsoft Office (Outlook).
• Experience completing routine and preventative maintenance.
• Able to work all shift schedules including day, evening and nights.
• Knowledge of SAP considered an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and supervise the daily operations of the Operations Services Department for the designated facility.
• Ensure overall cleanliness, maintenance and security of the school facility/building.
• Supervise assigned staff.
• Perform duties in a professional, proactive and quality manner to ensure a clean, safe, sanitary and attractive appearance of the building(s).
