Job summary

Prairie Valley School Division is seeking a part-time Caretaker at Ecole White City School in White City, SK. The role supports daily operations, cleaning and building maintenance to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for students and staff.

The position offers up to 7 hours per day, with potential split into two part-time roles, and begins as soon as possible. The candidate should have Grade 12 or equivalent, 3+ years caretaking experience, and knowledge of boiler/HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years caretaking experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and fire safety.
• Ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to handle confidential information and maintain privacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning, maintenance and grounds work.
• Inspect HVAC, Life Safety Systems and building equipment.
• Collaborate with administrator and facilities teams.
• Maintain supplies of cleaning and paper products.
• Respond to security alarms and ensure building safety.
• Carry out minor repairs and report concerns.
• Help optimize energy and water use.
• Support events and activities as needed.
