Job summary

PCL Constructors Canada Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Scheduling Student to contribute to project scheduling activities. This 4 or 8 month assignment offers exposure to real projects within our Canadian Buildings Division and the support of a Scheduling Manager.

You will assist with schedule creation, monitor updates for projects, and gain hands-on experience with Primavera, MS Project, Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite while collaborating with the scheduling team.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment.
• Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera, Microsoft Project or Excel.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with the scheduling group.

We are seeking a Scheduling Student for our Toronto district, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for 4 or 8 months starting January 2027.

As a Scheduling Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

• Assists with schedule creation
• Updates for small projects based on direction from Scheduling Manager
• Creates schedule content and completes schedule updates as directed
• Assists schedulers with monitoring and communicating the project schedules to project and scheduling team
• Basic Knowledge of construction specifications, building materials, methods, and materials.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment basic knowledge of building materials, methods, and materials
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including scheduling software such as: Primavera, Microsoft Project or excel as well as Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable systems
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with scheduling team

The estimated hourly range for this role is $21.37- $31.33, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
