Hybrid work – 2 to 3 days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) They must be flexible to also come in on Mondays and Friday's if necessary.
Office Location: CIBC Square - 81 Bay St.
Work Schedule (hours per week, start time): 37.5 Hours/week, 9-5 Monday to Friday

Selling points of the positions: Hands-on position with exposure to multiple SAP modules and end to end processes within a Financial institution
Who Will the Candidate Be Working with on a Daily Basis? Business stakeholders
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Analyze defects and recommend solutions/actions and/or alternatives.
· Understand business requirements
· Propose and work on technical solutions with Technology partners
· Analyze the pros/cons of a solution to propose a recommendation
· Leverage SAP functional design capabilities to recommend and/or document functional specifications to meet business needs
· Vendor management (software and service providers)
· Act as main liaison between Business and Technology
· Act as subject matter advisor for the supported business processes in collaboration with business process owners.
· Effective communication with stakeholders to manage expectations and negotiate
· Analyze changes, impacts and recommend actions and/or alternatives.
· Analyze risks/issues and recommend mitigation/actions.
· This position may have responsibility for supporting multiple concurrent projects.
Must Have Requirement:
· At least 8 years in project environments or equivalent work experience; including SAP experience in the banking industry
. Experience in the following modules/areas is an asset:
o SAP MDG configuration, Master data modelling, Process modelling, & Work Flow configuration to support leading ledger and multi-GAAP
o GL accounting Configuration & Accounting Process (S4 Hana GL & AR) including Average daily balance (ADB), multi-ledger & multi-currency accounting
· Experience in systems development life cycle and system testing life cycle
· Knowledge of end to end system designer (process and technology), with knowledge of cloud-based applications
· SAP related knowledge (functional)
· Production support role with error handling experience is a must
Functional understanding of upstream & downstream Non-SAP system integration
Clear understanding of Enterprise data structure (organization structure) in S/4 HANA finance with standard & custom chart of account code blocks.
Experience with leveraging SAP’s controls, security roles and data quality framework
Nice to Have:
o SAP close and financial consolidation and elimination process in S4 and group reporting
o FPSL (Financial Products Subledger) - Multi-GAAP banking product subledger accounting process
o Reporting using Fiori, SAC & CDS view (S4, Group reporting, Expense ledger, etc.)
o Expense Ledger (Accounts Payables, Fixed Asset Management, Project Systems / Project accounting)
o Controlling Area (Internal orders)
o PAPM (Profitability and Performance Management)
o Banking experience is helpful

• Focus on GL knowledge
• Finance and Control modules in SAP
• FICO, and other modules in SAP underneath
• Little difference with this role - focus on knowledge on security of SAP (niche skill set) - segregation of duties, GRC module, - nice asset
• They will be part of the team. Will lead issue or design but not a leader of the lead of the entire module
• 8+ years experience SAP
• Banking experience is plus or insurance industries
• SAP implementations end to end is not as important but is fine
• Security aspect
• Expense ledger/fixed assets/project accounting etc will be helpful e.g. Coupa
• Hybrid model: 2-3 days typically - right now coming in 1 day per week. There will be other times when you come in for workshops/testing and then coming in 5 days per week - flexibility
• Security on SAP: Application security and what people can do and cannot do in the application. Modules in SAP in Security (eg. GRC Modules) - rules and segregation of duties can be configured in SAP (composite roles)
• Option to convert to FTE but extension is possible
• Titles are not important - functional consultant and BSA are very similar. Cares about experience with reqts and communicates this experience well.
