Position Title: SAP Billing Functional Consultant

Project Duration:3 Year Contract extendable to 5 years

Location: 100% Remote within Canada (Some travel to Regina required)

**Position Summary**

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Billing Functional Consultant with a strong background in SAP IS-U modules, specifically Billing, FICA, and Device Management, to support a long-term utilities transformation initiative. This is a 100% remote opportunity within Canada, with occasional travel to Regina, Saskatchewan.

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of SAP IS-U experience in the Power Utilities domain and hold relevant SAP certifications. You will play a key role in implementing and supporting SAP billing solutions, integrating smart metering infrastructure, and contributing to green energy program initiatives within an SAP S/4HANA environment.

Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding billing strategy, ensuring system integrity, and delivering business value through advanced utility billing capabilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Lead and support the implementation, configuration, and enhancement of SAP IS-U Billing, FICA, and Device Management modules.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document billing and invoicing requirements specific to Power Utilities.

Design and implement billing solutions, including bill print configuration, rate design, and contract account management.

Integrate AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) and smart meter data into the billing processes.

Provide functional support for SAP MCF Gateway and ensure seamless integration with customer self-service platforms.

Participate in and contribute to the SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration activities.

Support the rollout and enhancement of green energy programs, ensuring billing accuracy and compliance.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional issues related to IS-U Billing and FICA in coordination with technical teams.

Develop functional specifications for custom developments and work closely with ABAP developers to deliver solutions.

Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices and ensure alignment with industry standards for utilities.

Deliver training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal teams and end users.
