Job summary

Wonderbrands in Sudbury, ON is seeking Sanitation Team Members to maintain cleanliness across production floors and surrounding areas. Flexible weekday and weekend shifts required.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, sanitizing production machines, adhering to GMP and health & safety standards, and disposing of waste and recyclables. Prior manufacturing or sanitation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing.
• Experience in sanitation, preferably industrial.
• Comfortable handling sanitizing agents and chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail to meet cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the production floor and surrounding area.
• Use cleaning equipment to clean production floors, ceilings, walls of the bakery facilities.
• Be responsible for locks out, dismantling, cleaning and sanitizing of production machines as required per sanitation schedule and SOPs.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures per GMP and Health & Safety guidelines.
• Collect waste and recyclables from production areas and dispose of them.
• Assist in cleaning major spills of liquid or dry product as needed.
• Perform specialized cleaning procedures per sanitation schedule.
• Comply with Weston Bakeries food safety, health and safety and environmental policies.

Our Sudbury team is looking for Sanitation Team Members!

Location: 695 Martindale Road. Sudbury, ON. P3E 4H6

Shift: Must have flexible availability throughout the week (weekdays and weekends)

Responsibilities

• Maintainthe cleanliness of the production floor and surrounding area
• Use cleaning equipment (scrapers, brushes, pads, vacuums, scrub machine, compressed air,power washers) to clean production floors, ceilings, walls of the bakery (warehouse, freezer, refrigerators, packing and production).
• Beresponsible for locks out, dismantling, cleaning and sanitizing ofproduction machines as requiredin accordance with master sanitation schedule and standard operating procedures
• Adhereto cleaning procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices Standards and Health and Safety guidelines
• Collectwaste andrecyclable materials from production areaand dispose of them
• Assist in the cleaning of any major spills of liquid or dry product as needed
• Perform specialized cleaning procedures in accordance with master sanitation schedule
• Comply with all applicable legislative and Weston Bakeries food safety, health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!)
• Have previous experience in sanitation (even better if it is industrial sanitation!)
• You are comfortable working with sanitizing agents and chemicals
• You’ve got really strong attention to detail and are able to meet cleanliness standards set by the company
