Job summary

Bimbo Canada is seeking a sanitation supervisor to lead daily sanitation operations across a unionized plant in Vaughan. You will plan, direct and document sanitation activities while ensuring GMP, sanitation SSOP and BRC compliance, and a safe work environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a unionized food, dairy or packaged goods setting, plus HACCP knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to train and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience.
• Experience in a unionized food industry is an asset.
• Experience with HACCP, sanitation procedures, cleaning systems, chemicals, and health & safety.
• Proficiency in MS Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and clean work environment and enforce policies.
• Lead sanitation operations and plan schedules and priorities.
• Oversee dismantling, cleaning, reassembly and sanitizing of equipment.
• Document monthly Health & Safety, QA, and Sanitation issues/changes.
• Follow GMPs, Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements.
