Job summary

Village Farms International is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to oversee sanitation and housekeeping across our production facilities. You will lead a team of sanitation professionals, ensure deviation-free operations, and maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP and WHMIS standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of sanitation leadership in a regulated environment, strong people management, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement in a 24/7 production setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• HACCP and WHMIS certification required (willing to obtain).
• Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Food Science, or related field is an asset.
• Minimum 3–5 years of sanitation leadership experience in a regulated production environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily sanitation activities in line with SSOPs, GMPs, HACCP and WHMIS.
• Manage and develop sanitation staff, set priorities, coach and review performance.
• Maintain sanitation logs, audit records, and ensure compliance documentation.
• Lead internal audits and prepare for regulatory inspections.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Health & Safety teams.
