Job summary

Civeo Services Employees LP in Alberta near Fort McMurray is seeking a Salad/Sandwich Worker to prepare and replenish large quantities of salad and sandwich stocks across kitchen and dining areas. You will also help with front and back of house duties, assist with food preparation, inventory, and general kitchen support, reporting to the supervisor in a 20-on/10-off rotation.

This role requires valid provincial Food Safe Certification and kitchen experience, strong English communication, ability

Qualifications

• Valid provincial Food Safe Certification is required.
• Experience working in a kitchen is required.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, pull, push, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Current, valid First Aid certification is an asset.
• Excellent organization, strong time management skills.
• Working knowledge of food service equipment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and replenishing salad and sandwich stations
• Keeping these areas clean, organized and well-stocked
• Assists with putting away groceries using FIFO
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining area
• Assists with inventory
• Reports damage, theft and abandoned articles to the designated supervisors
• Perform other duties as assigned

Civeo Services Employees LP is currently looking to fill a position for a Salad/Sandwich Worker at Various Locations located near Fort McMurray, AB. The successful candidate will prepare and replenish large quantities of salad and sandwich stocks throughout the kitchen and dining area. The candidate will also help clear and clean front and back of house areas in the kitchen and dining room, assist with preparation of food items, assist with inventory, and provide general assistance in the kitchen where required. Reporting to the designated supervisor, the successful candidate will work a 20 days on and 10 days off rotation, which may include days, nights, weekend shifts and statutory holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and replenishing salad and sandwich stations
• Keeping these areas clean, organized and well-stocked
• Assists with putting away groceries using the First In, First Out method (FIFO)
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining area
• Assists with inventory
• Reports damage, theft and abandoned articles to the designated supervisors
• Perform other duties as assigned
