About the Role

Within the Sample Preparation Department, you will work with client samples, preparing them for analysis in our labs.

Key Responsibilities

• Ringing, sieving (including International Soils), crushing, splitting under supervision
• Loading and unloading drying ovens
• Maintaining production logs
• Performing general cleaning duties to ensure lab cleanliness
• Assisting with layout duties/tasks as needed
• Following established methods and procedures to ensure analytical quality
• Adhering to safety regulations and ALS health and safety policies
• Performing other duties as assigned

About You

• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Basic comprehension of alpha/numeric data
• Basic English communication skills

Minimum Requirements

• Manual dexterity for repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Clean-shaven to wear protective equipment
• Wearing PPE such as masks and gloves when required
• Ability to stand for a full shift
• Ability to perform sedentary tasks at a desk
