Job summary

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Salesperson Inside & Outside role is based at YYC Flooring Solutions in Calgary, AB. The position involves greeting customers in the showroom, understanding their flooring needs, and recommending suitable products and solutions. Day-to-day tasks include preparing estimates, processing orders, coordinating with installation teams, and managing follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction. The role also includes outside sales activities such as visiting client sites, building relationships with contractors and designers, and generating new leads. The Salesperson is expected to maintain product knowledge, update CRM records, and contribute to sales targets and store growth.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Inside Sales and Account Management skills to handle inquiries, prepare quotes, and manage ongoing customer relationships.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to provide responsive support and ensure positive end-to-end experiences.
• Candidates should possess Lead Generation skills to identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain product features and options clearly to diverse customers.
• Basic math and pricing skills for accurate estimates, along with attention to detail in documentation and order processing.
• Previous experience in retail, construction, or flooring sales is an asset, as is familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools.
• Ability to work on-site, visit customer locations as needed, and stand or walk in the showroom for extended periods.
