Job summary

emergiTEL Inc. is hiring a Salesforce QA Analyst for our client in the Financial Services sector. This contract role runs for 3 months with a potential extension, and offers remote work from Calgary, AB.

The successful candidate will develop test plans, test cases, and automated/manual test scripts for Salesforce solutions, including FSC integration. You will work with the QA Lead and stakeholders to ensure high quality releases and robust testing processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing.
• Experience with automated and manual testing tools and methodologies.
• Proven experience creating and managing test plans, test cases, and automated/manual test scripts.
• Experience with SAP CRM, Salesforce CRM, and Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
• Familiarity with the Financial Services industry.
• Knowledge of Salesforce configuration, development, deployment processes, and testing within automated CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the impact of changes on test environments, test plans, and integrated systems.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, team leads, vendors, and internal resources at various organizational levels.
• Apply preventative quality practices including peer reviews, walkthroughs, and documentation reviews.
• Ensure test data is sufficient, secure, and compliant with privacy and confidentiality requirements.
• Participate in requirements change management and test condition management activities.
• Report testing progress, status, risks, and issues to project stakeholders.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to testing best practices and knowledge repositories.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance Office standards and procedures.
• Identify, assess, and resolve risks that may impact project milestones and deliverables.
