Job summary

Alto Consultants Inc. specializes in Rootstock ERP on Salesforce and is hiring a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy custom solutions while ensuring optimal Rootstock ERP integration.

You will work with analysts to translate requirements into technical specs, advise on API integrations, and architect solutions for complex business logic. English and French skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent.
• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II) preferred.
• Knowledge of Rootstock ERP on Salesforce is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom applications and Lightning components on Salesforce.
• Participate in Rootstock ERP implementation, configuration and customization.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs and ensure system integration.
• Advise on integrating Salesforce with external systems like databases or AWS and selecting API tools.
• Determine architecture for complex business logic (Apex vs Flow).
• Review AI-generated code and guide best practices as gatekeeper for AI tools.
• Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure performance and security.

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom solutions on the Salesforce platform and ensuring the optimal integration of Rootstock ERP.

What we are looking for

Your responsibilities are to:

• Design and develop custom applications, Lightning components (LWC/Aura), and Apex classes on the Salesforce platform,
• Participate in the implementation, configuration, and customization of the Rootstock ERP solution for our clients,
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure system integration,
• Advising consultants on integrating Salesforce with external systems like databases or AWS, and selecting the right API tools,
• Determining the best architecture for complex business logic, such as deciding between Apex and Flow,
• Serving as a gatekeeper for AI tools by reviewing AI-generated code, identifying pitfalls, and guiding the team on best practices,
• Perform unit testing and debugging, and ensure the performance and security of the code.

What we are looking for:

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent,
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II),
• Knowledge of Rootstock ERP or another ERP system on Salesforce (an asset),
• Strong problem-solving skills,
• Excellent communication in English and French, both spoken and written.

This is a remote opportunity and most of the team members are based in Montreal.
