Job summary

Lasso Informatics is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions, write Apex, build Lightning Web Components, and craft Flows that endure real-world use. You will connect Salesforce to other systems via REST APIs, while leveraging Claude to improve speed and quality.

You will collaborate with admins, QA engineers and analysts to deliver reliable software that supports ongoing research workflows. A strong grasp of security and CI/CD practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer.
• 3+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Apex, SOQL, SOSL and governor limits.
• Experience building Lightning Web Components.
• Experience designing and maintaining Salesforce Flows.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Salesforce security: sharing rules, profiles, permissions and role hierarchy.
• Experience writing Apex unit tests and debugging Salesforce applications.
• Familiarity with Git-based development and CI/CD.
• Ability to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.
• Experience using Claude or another generative AI tool in a software development workflow.

About the Role

As a Salesforce Developer at Lasso, you build and maintain the Salesforce platform our team and internal collaborators depend on. You write Apex, build Lightning Web Components and design Flows that hold up under real use. You connect Salesforce to the rest of our stack through REST APIs, and you use tools like Claude to move faster without cutting corners on quality.

You work alongside administrators, QA engineers, business analysts and other developers, and your code ends up in front of the people who run our studies and support our collaborators every day.

What You'll Do

• Design and build Salesforce solutions in Apex, including triggers, batch classes, scheduled jobs and asynchronous processing.Build responsive, reusable Lightning Web Components.
• Create and maintain Salesforce Flows: record-triggered, screen, scheduled and autolaunched.
• Develop and consume REST APIs to connect Salesforce with our other systems.
• Configure objects, fields, validation rules, permissions, profiles and custom metadata.
• Write Apex test classes and keep our code coverage and quality standards high.
• Troubleshoot performance, integration, security and deployment issues.
• Take part in code reviews, testing, release management and production deployments.
• Use Bitbucket and Salesforce CLI for source control and deployment.
• Use Claude or a similar AI tool to support development, code review, troubleshooting, documentation and test creation.
• Work closely with System Administrators, QA engineers, scientific analysts and other developers.

Qualifications

Required

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer.

• At least 3 year of experience in Salesforce development

• Strong knowledge of Apex, SOQL, SOSL and Salesforce governor limits.

• Hands-on experience building Lightning Web Components.

• Experience designing and maintaining Salesforce Flows.

• Experience building and integrating REST APIs.

• Working knowledge of Salesforce security: sharing rules, profiles, permission sets and role hierarchy.

• Experience writing Apex unit tests and debugging Salesforce applications.

• Familiarity with Git-based development and CI/CD.

• Ability to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.

• Experience using Claude or another generative AI tool in a software development workflow.

Preferred

• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.

• Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud.

• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, SSO and external authentication providers.

• Experience with Salesforce CLI, scratch orgs and automated deployment pipelines.

• Familiarity with Agile development and Jira.

• Strong communication, problem-solving and documentation skills.
