Job summary

Lasso Informatics is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions, write Apex, build Lightning Web Components, and craft Flows that endure real-world use. You will connect Salesforce to other systems via REST APIs, while leveraging Claude to improve speed and quality.

You will collaborate with admins, QA engineers and analysts to deliver reliable software that supports ongoing research workflows. A strong grasp of security and CI/CD practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer.
• 3+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Apex, SOQL, SOSL and governor limits.
• Experience building Lightning Web Components.
• Experience designing and maintaining Salesforce Flows.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Salesforce security: sharing rules, profiles, permissions and role hierarchy.
• Experience writing Apex unit tests and debugging Salesforce applications.
• Familiarity with Git-based development and CI/CD.
• Ability to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.
• Experience using Claude or another generative AI tool in a software development workflow.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Salesforce solutions in Apex, including triggers and batch jobs.
• Create and maintain Salesforce Flows: record-triggered, screen, scheduled and autolaunched.
• Develop and consume REST APIs to connect Salesforce with other systems.
• Configure objects, fields, validation rules, permissions and metadata.
• Write Apex test classes and maintain code coverage.
• Troubleshoot performance, integration, security and deployment issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, release management and deployments.
• Use Bitbucket and Salesforce CLI for source control and deployment.
• Leverage Claude or similar AI tools to support development and testing.
• Collaborate with System Administrators, QA and analysts.
