Standard BioTools is seeking a Sales Training & Development Specialist to join the Sales Enablement team. This role involves collaborating with sales, marketing, product management, and service teams to develop engaging learning experiences that enhance selling skills, product knowledge, and overall effectiveness. Responsibilities include creating training content, facilitating workshops and webinars, and measuring training effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with development & delivery of training programs
  • Deliver engaging training sessions (virtual and onsite)
  • Customize training for different regions and product lines
  • Create and update training materials
  • Manage training materials in LMS
  • Assess and measure training effectiveness through surveys and testing
  • Analyze data to identify gaps and recommend improvements
  • Promote adoption of Sales Methodologies & Tools
  • Reinforce CRM usage, pipeline management, and sales process compliance
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales team skills and productivity
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and report to leadership

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years in sales training, instructional design, or related fields (life sciences or biotech preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Education, or Business; advanced degree a plus
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering engaging training programs
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate)
  • Experience with LMS and measuring training success
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Adaptable to fast-paced environments
  • Training and prior sales experience is a plus
