Job summary

Roofmart, Canada’s leading exterior building supply distributor, seeks an Outside Sales Specialist to drive revenue by building relationships with contractors, architects, and key customers. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, expand market share, and deliver tailored product solutions with sound credit oversight.

The ideal candidate has a college diploma or degree in Business/Sales/Marketing and 3+ years of sales experience, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset.
• College Diploma or Degree in Business/Sales/Marketing preferred and/or 3+ years of successful Sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing relationships with existing and new customers to increase sales of Company products.
• Growing new business and expanding market share by providing solutions for the needs of current and future contractors, architects and customers.
• Defining, building, implementing and monitoring Sales Plan, including sales strategies, targets, and priorities.
• Creating action plans for defined sales targets and working with our suppliers to execute the plans.
• Educating customers and staff on products; managing customer sample & educational stock levels.
• Managing customer payments & credit in coordination with credit managers, including collections, credit recommendations, and AR adjustments within set rules.

Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 plus commission
