What you will be doing:
Drive the territory: set priorities, prepare the development plan and organize activities to reach sales targets
Grow the business: prospect new clients, develop existing accounts and convert opportunities into sales
Be in the field: meet clients, understand their challenges and offer tailored solutions
Bring products to life: deliver hands-on demonstrations and training
Close and retain: prepare quotes, negotiate within companyguidelines and follow up closely
Track performance: use the Pipedrive CRM to manage opportunities, monitor results and adjust actions
Work as a team: mobilize internal resources for a quality client experience and take part in market events
Mission: Grow the territory by becoming a trusted partner to distributors and end users of company products. Run the territory like your own business (know the market, spot opportunities, organize visits, build relationships that lead to lasting growth).
Current / Upcoming Projects: Territory build-out in an under-exploited market (~12% penetration in abrasives). Company is actively expanding across Canada.
Travel Requirements: Frequent travel, up to 80% of the time, mainly within the territory
What you must have:
2+ years of experience selling industrial products
Post-secondary education in business management or a related field
Strong interest in technical products
Good command of computer tools and a CRM
Fluent in French and English, spoken and written
Available for frequent travel (up to 80%), mainly within the territory
Nice to have:
Knowledge of abrasives and surface finishing
Good knowledge of Southern Quebec and its industrial network
Experience in industrial, tooling or paint sectors (explicitly flagged by the client as of interest)
Years of Experience: 2+ years in industrial product sales
Education / Certifications: Post-secondary in business management or a related field
Ideal Background / Industry: Industrial, tooling or paint sales
