Job summary

Traction Heavy Duty Parts in Winnipeg is seeking an Account Development Specialist to build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers across our heavy‑duty parts network. You will execute sales development initiatives and promote Traction programs while collaborating with regional teams.

This full‑time role offers a base salary in the stated range plus a 25% bonus, training opportunities, and corporate discounts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
  • Heavy vehicle parts knowledge.

  • Call on heavy-duty repair shops, fleets, and other commercial customers to sell Traction heavy vehicle parts and programs.
  • Collaborate with various sales teams at the regional and corporate levels.
  • Implement sales development plans and support District and Regional strategies and objectives re: deployment of marketing programs and promotions.
  • Gather market intelligence and report service or product issues to assigned Store Managers and District Sales Manager.
  • Make pricing recommendations on accounts and assist in collections and in ensuring accounts adhere to buying conditions.

Job Description

The Account Development Specialist is the image, face, and voice ofTraction. You are accountable for building and maintaining quality business relationships with existing and new customers by implementing National, Regional and District-level sales development initiatives and promotingTraction heavy vehicle parts, products, and programs. The ADS contributes to keeping Traction abreast of customer behavior, competitive threats, and market trends. You will participate in the development and refinement of sales development initiatives at the district level.

This is a regular full-time position and is located in Winnipeg.

Specific responsibilities are:

  • Call onheavy-duty repair shops, fleets, and other commercial customersto sell Traction heavy vehicle parts and programs. Collaborate with various sales teams at the regional and corporate levels.

  • Collaborate with District Sales Manager and Store Managers to develop sales development plans for growing business with existing customers in their assigned territory.
  • Gather market intelligence and report service or product issues to assigned Store Managers and District Sales Manager.
  • Make pricing recommendations on accounts and assist in collections and in ensuring accounts adhere to buying conditions.

Salary range: $60,000- $69,900 plus 25% bonus. The final offer will depend on internal equity and relevant experience.
