We are currently seeking a Sales Operations Manager to join Clio’s Revenue Operations team. This role is available to candidates remotely in the USA and Canada, specifically Vancouver, Calgary or Toronto.
Revenue Operations has one job—to drive growth by accelerating our revenue-generating and revenue-retaining teams. We directly support Sales, Marketing, Channel, Product, Customer Support and Payments by providing insights, reducing friction, and enabling teams to be innovative and self-sufficient.

We are seeking a high-caliber Sales Operations Manager to lead transformative initiatives that will drive operational excellence across our SaaS product operations. This role is tailor-made for seasoned professionals with a passion for strategic impact and a proven track record of large-scale operational transformations.
You will be working on the Sales & Channel Operations team in the Revenue Operations department. You are responsible for operational efficiencies and data-driven decision making, and promoting a world-class sales organization. This role will be cross-functional with deep partnerships with many areas of the business: primarily Core, Customer and Channel Sales and additionally, Finance, Product, and Business Operations. You will own our Deal De k- and support all aspects of the Quote to Close process cycle by advising on sales transactions from pricing a quote through to a contract signature. You’ll be responsible for providing expertise on deal structuring, pricing strategies, approval workflows, and discount management. You need to thrive in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment, where you are faced with new opportunities and challenges often.
Lead Operational Transformation: Drive process management initiatives aligned with Clio’s strategic objectives, conducting gap analysis, identifying key opportunities, and building end-to-end solutions for key operations areas of New and Customer Sales and Order Management and Quote to Cash.
Develop, execute, and continuously improve operational function to support Deal Structure, approvals and streamlined self service processes within quote creation for Clio’s GTM Teams.
Expertly and proactively advise Sales on their teams on pricing, quote configuration, and business terms/deal strategy.
Establish the controls and policies for pricing, discounting, and commercial terms, ensuring consistent application and effective risk mitigation for multi-year contracts, renewals, and amendments.
Partner closely with Finance, Legal, and Accounting to guarantee contract accuracy, compliance, and alignment with revenue recognition standards, facilitating seamless billing
Process Optimization: Identify and refine sales processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. Drive improvements in sales productivity by simplifying and automating processes where possible.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Systems, Enablement, Strategy & Analytics,, Marketing, Finance, and Product to align strategies and optimize the organization's sales initiatives.
Additional Revenue Org support: Own a range of processes to support the rest of the organization including RFP Support, forecasting, territory management, and partner portal management.
Implement metrics and processes to enhance business visibility & Report on those metrics to the Executive team
Develops & supports sales enablement collateral (e.g. Product & Pricing FAQ's, Sales Approval templates, Rules of Engagement, etc.) and serves as a subject matter expert on continuous improvement of deal desk policies and procedures
10 years of Sales support experience in a SaaS company
5+ years of proven experience in Sales Operations, Contract Management, or Deal Desk, with a strong focus on deal structuring and execution
Experience and understanding of software licensing and contracting, including subscription (SaaS) and non-recurring models
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel (ability to create ad-hoc models and scenario analysis)
Demonstrated project management experience or participation in process improvement efforts
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Experience with Salesforce as well as Quoting tools required
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or professional certifications in Finance, Legal, or Operations a plus

* We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
