Job summary

Cam Clark Auto Group is seeking a Sales Manager for our Cam Clark Ford dealership in Airdrie, AB. You will lead the sales team to implement department strategies, drive revenue, and deliver outstanding customer service across the showroom and online channels.

You will manage inventory, forecast objectives, and coach staff to meet aggressive monthly goals while maintaining compliance with regulations. A strong focus on customer satisfaction and staff development is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sales Manager or similar role.
• Proven knowledge of effective sales strategies and best practices.
• Dedication to providing a great experience for customers and staff.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• AMVIC license is required.
• Experience with DMS, V-auto, PBS and Dealertrack is an asset.

In the position of Sales Manager reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of the Sales Department strategies and will be required to be an active force in driving sales through exceptional customer service and selling skills.

You will be accountable for:

• Maintaining vehicle inventory through understanding relevant trends, previous sales history, and local market data.
• Proactively identifying opportunities to grow market share, overall customer satisfaction, and sales performance.
• Championing lease portfolio growth through a firm understanding of available programs, benefits, and training.
• Forecasting and achieving objectives for sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
• Leading salespeople in setting aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives and providing them with the support to meet these goals.
• Understanding manufacturer and government regulations and ensuring store compliance
• Organizing and executing sales events, advertising efforts, and internal promotions.
• Ensuring proper follow-up with all customers through the development of sales processes and post-purchase programs.
• Conducting daily and weekly meetings with a strong focus on team development, target achievement, and product knowledge.
• Maintaining a culture focused on high NPS scores, customer appreciation, and lease portfolio growth.
• Other related duties as assigned.

To be successful, you must have:

• Experience as a Sales Manager or similar role.
• Proven knowledge of effective sales strategies and best practices
• A firm dedication to providing a great experience for both customers and staff.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
• A valid AMVIC license.
• Prior experience with a DMS, V-auto, PBS and Dealertrack is an asset.
