Job summary

Yorkshire Valley Farms, based at Farm Fresh Poultry in Harriston, Ontario, is seeking a Sales & Logistics Coordinator to manage daily sales entry and assist in logistics planning. The role reports to the Supply Chain & Live Procurement Manager and requires strong communication and organizational skills.

The successful candidate will collaborate across teams, adapt to changing schedules, and support on-floor operations.

Qualifications

• Must live within a 1 hour commute of the plant.
• High school graduate with a minimum of 1-year relevant work experience.
• Positive, outgoing, helpful, team-player with a “can do” attitude.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to adapt to changes and handle moderate amounts of stress.
• Flexible working hours.
• Strong Excel and Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the sales and order entry of all Farm Fresh product daily
• Assists in logistics planning of product delivery
• Maintains a liaison relationship as "customer service rep" between plant staff and customers
• Inform supervisors of production demands daily
• Assists with finished goods inventory
• Assists in the development or changes of new products or customer requests
• Assists in compiling and issuing all weekly, monthly and periodic reporting on designated sales and operations metrics
• Supports the Supply Chain & Live Procurement Manager as required; inclusive of providing holiday coverage and supporting on the floor when needed
• Other duties as assigned
