Position: Sales Executive

As a Sales Executive at TRAFFIX Dallas, you will play a vital role in achieving branch targets and business goals. Your primary responsibility will be identifying companies experiencing challenges with their supply chain transportation network and presenting TRAFFIX’s suite of services as optimal solutions.

What is the difference between a Sales Executive and Senior Sales Executive?

A Sales Executive will have 3-5 years of successful sales experience working for a 3PL. A Senior Sales Executive will have 5+ years of experience selling for a 3PL with a proven track record.

What does a day in the life of a Sales Executive look like?

A day may include:

  • Prospecting companies that ship freight within North America.
  • Researching companies and contacts to prepare for initial calls.
  • Cold calling and emailing prospects to initiate conversations.
  • Identifying business opportunities within new and existing customers.
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Monitoring trends and changes in customer purchase behavior and following up accordingly.
  • Collaborating with TRAFFIX experts for discovery calls and meetings.
  • Developing pricing strategies that fit client budgets while supporting branch success.
  • Meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Who are you?

You have at least 5 years of experience with a 3PL in sales, skilled at bypassing gatekeepers, identifying decision-makers, and closing deals. You are a self-starter, independent worker, incentive-driven, and passionate about hunting for new business. You excel at cultivating customer relationships, handling challenges, and using emotional intelligence.

You are a problem solver, ready to generate solutions when faced with challenges. You enjoy collaborating with the TRAFFIX team to optimize transportation networks and achieve sales success.

Excellent communication skills are essential, comfortable speaking with warehouse staff up to C-suite executives of Fortune 500 companies.

Finally, you thrive on growth and don’t believe in complacency—you're eager to expand your book of business.
