RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for contracts across Canada, with potential expansion into the US.
- Generate sales leads, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and bid on projects.
- Work with clients on conceptualization, planning, and preparing estimations and creative design proposals for presentation.
- Collaborate with the executive team to find new opportunities aligning with corporate strategy, identify sales leads, and maintain relationships with current and new contacts.
- Support efforts to obtain new leads and drive sales.
- Be innovative, creative, and a team player who can lead by example in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong technical knowledge.
- Support production, installation, and client inquiries as needed.
- Work closely with Engineering, Estimating, and Sales departments.
- Generate sales leads.
- Prepare pricing estimates and submit proposals to clients.
- Attend industry shows, conferences, and events.
- Participate in departmental and interdepartmental meetings or training.
- Pre-qualify potential clients, establish budgets and timelines, and prepare quotations and site meetings.
- Manage client expectations regarding company processes, policies, and timelines.
- Update clients on business changes such as product offerings and pricing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction or building materials industry, preferably with aluminum railings & extrusions sectors.
- Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Reliable, with integrity, passion, and strong in-person presentation skills.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to exceed client expectations and identify suitable products.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and scheduling skills.
- High-energy, detail-oriented, results-driven, and self-motivated.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Flexibility with work hours.
