Job description

Clients deliver innovative architectural solutions and are committed to the manufacturing, commercial, residential, and industrial construction markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Responsible for contracts across Canada, with potential expansion into the US.
  2. Generate sales leads, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and bid on projects.
  3. Work with clients on conceptualization, planning, and preparing estimations and creative design proposals for presentation.
  4. Collaborate with the executive team to find new opportunities aligning with corporate strategy, identify sales leads, and maintain relationships with current and new contacts.
  5. Support efforts to obtain new leads and drive sales.
  6. Be innovative, creative, and a team player who can lead by example in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong technical knowledge.
  7. Support production, installation, and client inquiries as needed.
  8. Work closely with Engineering, Estimating, and Sales departments.
  9. Generate sales leads.
  10. Prepare pricing estimates and submit proposals to clients.
  11. Attend industry shows, conferences, and events.
  12. Participate in departmental and interdepartmental meetings or training.
  13. Pre-qualify potential clients, establish budgets and timelines, and prepare quotations and site meetings.
  14. Manage client expectations regarding company processes, policies, and timelines.
  15. Update clients on business changes such as product offerings and pricing.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction or building materials industry, preferably with aluminum railings & extrusions sectors.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Reliable, with integrity, passion, and strong in-person presentation skills.
  • Proven customer service skills with the ability to exceed client expectations and identify suitable products.
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and scheduling skills.
  • High-energy, detail-oriented, results-driven, and self-motivated.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Flexibility with work hours.
