Job description

As an Inside Sales Executive, you will be responsible for engaging with solution providers across the HR, Marketing, and IT sectors, and selling access to curated 1:1 meetings with qualified C-level decision-makers. You’ll manage the full sales cycle — from initial outreach to close — supported by SDRs and pre-qualified lead lists. This is a fast-paced, remote-first role with a short sales cycle, uncapped monthly commission, and the opportunity to sell a proven executive engagement service trusted by B2B solution providers worldwide. Base salary for this role ranges from CAD $70,000 – $140,000 (based on experience) plus performance-based commission.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Base Salary: CAD $70,000 – $140,000 (based on experience)
    On-Target Earnings (OTE): Potential to double base salary through performance-based commissions
  • Commission Structure: Paid monthly, based on volume of meetings secured and closed contracts

OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:

  • Location: Remote (Canada or US preferred) – Candidates must provide their own laptop and connectivity
  • Territory: Responsible for selling into the US, UK, and EU markets.
  • Schedule: Flexible across North American time zones (EST/CST/PST), depending on assigned sales region.

EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years of B2B new business sales experience in sponsorships, events, conferences, or exhibitions

  • Proven background in sponsorship or event sales (required)

  • Experience as a Sales Executive, Business Development Manager, or Sponsorship/Event Sales(individual contributor roles only — no team management required)

  • Must have a minimum of 500 LinkedIn connections

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive)
  • Comfortable using LinkedIn and sales prospecting tools (e.g. Apollo, ZoomInfo)
  • Experience conducting video calls via Zoom, Office Teams or Google Meet
  • Basic understanding of email sequencing and follow-up workflows

THE PRODUCT / SERVICE / SOLUTION

  • A high-intent executive matchmaking service that delivers qualified 1:1 meetings between solution providers and C-level buyers with active project needs.

PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS / INDUSTRY FOCUS / DECISION-MAKER(S):

  • Account Type: Solution providers across sectors such as HR tech, martech, IT, cybersecurity, and SaaS
  • Target Clients: B2B solution providers actively seeking executive-level introductions
  • Decision-Makers: Heads of Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, or Founders/CEOs

SALES CYCLE / ORDER VALUE / ACCOUNT SIZE

  • Sales Cycle: 1–3 weeks
  • Deal Size: £7,000–£50,000 per contract
  • Quota Expectations: Monthly targets based on volume of contracts closed (meetings sold)

LEADS:

  • SDRs and lead generators will assist with appointment setting
  • You’ll receive pre-qualified lead lists
  • Reps are responsible for outreach, pitch, follow-up, and closing deals

SUPPORT & TRAINING:

  • Full onboarding and internal training provided
  • Coaching and sales development throughout the role
  • Proven track record of internal promotion, with many team members advancing from AE roles into senior and leadership positions.
