We are expanding our sales team and seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Executive to help drive business growth by identifying, engaging, and developing new customer relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth company in the logistics industry and build a rewarding sales career.

A salesperson at Ameri-Connect has the benefit of selling every form of supply chain to a large and growing customer base in Canada and the US with an incredible team of business development, pricing, and operational professionals that are all singularly aligned towards company growth.

What You’ll Do

As a Sales Executive, you will be a key driver of revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. You will act as a trusted advisor to your clients, uncovering pain points in their supply chain and offering customized logistics solutions across modes and services. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Pipeline: build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, networking, and referrals
  • Market Research: conducting thorough desktop research and utilizing proprietary tools to identify high-potential prospects and developing a strategic and customized plan to pursue them
  • Pursuit: Identify decision-makers, uncover shipping and logistics challenges, and present Ameri-Connect’s value proposition with clarity, persistence, and conviction.
  • Lead: client discovery calls, internal team coordination to develop and present tailored solutions to prospects and customers, RFP/RFQ qualitative and quantitative responses, and close deals
  • Collaborate: internal business development and operations team to ensure client satisfaction is always maintained and exceeded
  • CRM: consistently update CRM and ensure data is organized, current, and complete to produce periodic reports on pipeline and forecast revenue for management
  • Performance: meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and represent the company at industry events to generate new business opportunities

You are an energetic and motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You have become an expert in first impressions, objection handling, building long-term relationships, and closing business. You can demonstrate a credible track record with objective data to support it.

You are entrepreneurial, able to work independently, and are motivated to maximize earning potential commensurate with your efforts and achievements.

Ideal candidates should possess:

  • 3+ years of successful sales experience within a 3PL, freight forwarding, or transportation brokerage environment
  • Proven “hunter” mindset with a relentless drive to prospect, pitch, and close.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills — able to engage both warehouse managers and C-suite leaders.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving ability and business acumen.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit — you thrive on autonomy, are metrics-driven, and take ownership of your book of business.
  • Experience using modern CRM tools and sales automation platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
