Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Canada.

Profile :

Our client, a commercial printer, is looking to hire a Montreal-based Director of Sales to manage a team of salespeople and customer service representatives who sell across Canada. The ideal candidate will have sales management experience and have sold either printing or packaging. They should be exceptional in coaching senior reps and proficient in using technical and computer tools. Please submit your resume in English.

Functions :
  1. Manage and develop a team of sales professionals, including sales reps, account managers, and customer service
  2. Identify hiring needs and collaborate with HR to bring in top talent
  3. Develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and exceed company targets
  4. Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and strong funnel management
  5. Use sales analytics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth
  6. Create a strategy for new business acquisition
  7. Work closely with your team to establish strategies for upselling and cross-selling the existing customer base
  8. Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
  9. Use the company CRM to produce reports and make business decisions for your territory
  10. Run and facilitate regular sales meetings
  11. Perform regular 1-on-1 meetings
Requirements :

Development vs Maintenance: 50% vs 50%

Road vs Office :

20% vs 80%

Languages :

French and English (written and spoken)

Education :

College degree preferred in business, sales, or marketing

Training :

Will attend various training sessions

Overnight Travel :

Up to 20% overnight travel

Years of experience :

At least 10 years of experience in sales management and new business development
