Location : Remote (Canada or U.S. preferred)

Job Type : Full-time

Compensation : Competitive base salary + commission

ember is reinventing the taxi experience with interactive backseat screens, smart in-car payments, and targeted advertising. Live in multiple cities and scaling rapidly, ember is building a connected media platform inside vehicles—bridging local content, convenience, and commerce. As we roll out, we’re unlocking an entirely new media channel for advertisers to reach & engage with a captive audience in motion.

The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Head of Advertising Sales & Monetization to lead revenue growth at ember. You’ll take ownership of our advertising sales strategy—Agency, partner, direct local and programmatic—while developing scalable monetization models across markets. This is a senior role with a clear path to becoming our future CRO. You’ll start by closing deals and shaping strategy, then build and lead your own team as we scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and lead ember’s advertising revenue strategy from the ground up
  • Close deals with local businesses, national brands, tourism boards, and agencies
  • Develop scalable monetization strategies : CPM rates, bundled campaigns, targeting models
  • Work cross-functionally with product, ops, and marketing to launch and optimize campaigns
  • Build your own ad sales team over time—local reps, agency leads, and ops support
  • Help shape the future of how advertisers engage passengers in transit

Who You Are

  • 5–10 years in ad / media sales, strategy, or partnerships (DOOH, digital, or OOH experience is a strong plus)
  • A closer with strong instincts for packaging, pricing, and positioning ad inventory
  • Strategic thinker who can also operate hands-on in a lean, fast-paced environment
  • Experience building a sales team or sales process from scratch
  • Deep knowledge of local advertising and / or programmatic platforms
  • Bonus : experience selling to SMBs, municipalities, airports, or travel / tourism verticals
