Acquired in 2018 by Tidan, this hotel is located in the heart of the Montreal metropolis. The Marriott Château Champlain is a 1-minute walk from the metro, accessible by an underground route, adjacent to the Bell Centre and also by 1000 de la Gauchetière. This iconic and emblematic hotel in Montreal was completely renovated in 2021, with 36 floors, 614 rooms, 13 suites, 25 meeting rooms and can accommodate up to 1000 customers. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Sales and Conference Coordinator will support the sales and conference team in all activities related to sales management, event coordination, and client satisfaction. This role plays a key part in coordinating sales efforts and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team with daily sales activities.
  • Prepare and send quotes, proposals, and contracts to potential clients.
  • Work closely with clients to address inquiries, provide information on products and services, and resolve issues.
  • Track ongoing sales, update CRM systems, and provide regular sales status reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including production, logistics, and customer service, to ensure a seamless and high-quality client experience.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our products, services, and industry to better advise and assist clients.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales coordination or sales support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments.
