Job summary

Chartwell is seeking a Sales Consultant / Retirement Living Consultant in Vancouver to guide prospective residents and families through a thoughtful decision process. You will drive occupancy, build community relationships, and foster a warm resident experience.

The role requires strong sales capability, CRM proficiency (Yardi preferred), and excellent communication. Flexible hours and local travel may be involved, with opportunities for leadership development and career growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales ability with a consultative approach.
  • Experience in a senior living or service-focused environment is an asset.
  • Experience using CRM systems (Yardi preferred).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and meet timelines.
  • Customer-focused, empathetic, and professional in all interactions.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of the local community and surrounding area is a plus.
  • Valid Driver’s License, or reliable means of transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end sales process from inquiry to move-in, ensuring timely follow-up and high conversion rates
  • Maintain accurate prospect records in Yardi CRM and use insights to guide sales priorities
  • Build and nurture referral networks and community partnerships to generate leads
  • Represent Chartwell at events to increase visibility and drive local engagement
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and welcoming resident experience
  • Partner with Marketing on promotional events and materials
  • Contribute to leadership meetings, strategic planning, and participate in Manager on Duty rotation

The Opportunity

Are you passionate about helping seniors find the right place to call home? Chartwell is looking for a Sales Consultant / Retirement Living Consultantto guide prospective residents and their families through a supportive and informative decision-making journey. In this key role, you’ll drive occupancy, build strong community relationships, and contribute to a warm and welcoming environment for residents.

What You’ll Do
