Qualifications

  • 3+ Jahre Erfahrung im Kundenkontakt, idealerweise im Verkauf oder Kundenservice.
  • Fähigkeit, Kundenbeziehungen aufzubauen und zu pflegen.

Your area of focus

The Automotive Sales Consultant interacts with customers online, over the phone, and in person to guide them through the vehicle purchase process. With your outstanding communication and listening skills, you'll help customers select their perfect vehicle, negotiate terms to meet their lifestyles, budgets, and expectations, all while providing an exceptional experience. Our ideal candidate has at least 3 years of customer-facing experience, a 'hunter' mentality, and a proven track record of building relationships to retain customers.

What drives your day-to-day?
  • Greet and assist customers entering the showroom, maintaining a professional environment that supports automotive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Answer questions about vehicles, financing, and processes as a subject matter expert.
  • Build rapport with customers, assist in vehicle selection, and negotiate payment terms.
  • Maintain an up-to-date customer database to drive sales.
  • Present vehicles through test drives, demonstrations, and walkthroughs.
  • Leverage negotiation skills to close sales while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Follow up with prospects via calls and emails to meet daily appointment and sales goals.
  • Follow up with previous clients to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Stay current with training requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Must-haves
  • Must be 18+ years old with a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background and MVR checks.
  • Open availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of customer-facing experience, with retail, sales, or customer service preferred.
  • Physical ability to perform duties (standing, sitting, walking, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Competitive, driven, outgoing, resilient, with a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Bilingual in French and English preferred.
  • OMVIC certification in process or possession (required to sell cars in Ontario).
