Job summary

DoorDash in Vancouver, Canada, seeks a Manager, Sales Compliance to shape the vision and roadmap for the merchant revenue assurance program. You will own key SOX controls, oversee end-to-end reconciliations, and drive automation to ensure accurate merchant charges.

You will partner with product, engineering, accounting, legal and audit, supporting multiple geographies and marketplace products. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Sales Compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in external audit, internal audit, or SOX compliance.
• Experience testing or operating revenue-related controls.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition and order-to-cash processes.
• Fluent in Excel and comfortable with large datasets.
• Experience partnering with data teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end effectiveness of key SOX revenue controls.
• Oversee contract→system→delivery‑level reconciliations and issue remediation.
• Drive automation, validate contract sources of truth and reconciliations.
• Provide oversight on merchant onboarding and commission changes.
• Investigate mismatches, validate exposure assessments, enable remediation.
• Oversee refunds and corrections at scale while protecting merchant relationships.
• Collaborate with Engineering on data views, scripts, and SOPs.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and sign-off standards.
• Expand control scope to new geographies and product areas.
• Identify systemic control gaps and propose scalable improvements.
• Present control outcomes and risks to Sales leadership and Internal Audit.
