Job summary

Staples Canada is seeking a Sales Compensation Analyst to support operational, reporting and data analysis for the sales compensation program in Richmond Hill. You will liaise with sales staff and finance, ensuring accurate quota roll ups and forecasting, while driving process improvements and automation.

The role reports to the Sales Compensation Manager and offers hybrid work with four days onsite in Richmond Hill. A degree in accounting/finance plus strong Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in accounting or finance.
• Analytical mindset with ability to review issues.
• Business and financial acumen.
• Advanced Excel skills and general computer proficiency.
• Innovative, proactive and solutions oriented.
• 3-5 years in a sales compensation analyst role incl. design and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the sales compensation plan including reporting and analysis.
• Publish leaderboards based on performance to plan and any contests.
• General sales reporting and data management using internal data warehouse applications.
• Analyze plan effectiveness and suggest revisions to compensation procedures.
• Create and administer sales incentives and contests.
