Job summary

Wine Rack in Stratford, Ontario is hiring a friendly Wine Merchant to deliver exceptional customer service, while participating in a comprehensive wine education training program and tastings. You will help customers select wines, handle POS transactions, and contribute to a vibrant, team-oriented store culture in a fun environment.

Requirements include 19 years of age or older, High School or equivalent, Smart Serve certification, and the ability to lift up to 21 kilograms.

• Perform POS (point of sales transactions) and merchandising tasks, such as receiving shipments and replenishment
• Meet and exceed shift targets
• Participate in community-driven initiatives and festivals.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• 19 years of age or older.
• High School or equivalent education is required.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job include lifting up to 21 kilograms, standing, reaching, bending and climbing ladders.

Compensation: $17.85/hr
