GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate creates value in patients' lives by delivering outstanding eye care in your neighborhood. Join our team to hone your selling and consultative skills while helping meet team goals.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consistently deliver sales plans and meet company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Use optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate with optical measurements to help customers find the perfect vision solution.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
• Participate actively in creating a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain the store's appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
• Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
• Ability to sell using sales skills and take responsibility for sales results, with a goal-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a fast-changing environment

Pay Range: $17.40 - $21.73

Compensation is based on factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and skills. Additional benefits may include health care, retirement plans, paid time off, and employee discounts. A competitive bonus and/or commission plan may also be offered.
