Job summary

Keethanow Group of Businesses in La Ronge, SK is seeking a Yard Worker for the Keethanow Lumber & Furniture site. The role involves selling, loading, unloading and delivering lumber and related products, plus maintaining the yard and assisting customers with loading orders.

Candidates should have at least Grade 10 education, 2 years retail lumber experience if possible, and a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.

Qualifications

The Keethanow Group of Businesses is now accepting applications for the following Full-Time position(s) based out of the Keethanow Lumber & Furniture in La Ronge, SK Yard Worker(s).

Job Duties

• Selling, loading, unloading and delivering lumber and related products
• Yard, shed and warehouse upkeep and maintenance
• Receiving freight and merchandise accordingly
• Identify and assist customers with advice, information and/or help in gathering and loading orders
• Maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records
• Safely operate various equipment and vehicle, and keep maintenance records
• Maintaining a welcoming, clean and safe environment

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 Education
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the retail Lumber Industry preferred
• Safety certifications preferred
• Exceptional customer service skillsExcellent organization skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• MUST possess a valid class 5 driver’s License, with a clean driver’s abstract
• MUST be able to provide a Satisfactory Criminal record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check
