Job summary

The Wine Shop in Whitby, operated by Andrew Peller Limited, is seeking a professional, passionate sales teammate focused on delivering a superior shopping experience. The role requires 2 years of customer service, Smart Serve certification, cash handling ability, and knowledge of Windows applications.

Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays is needed; lifting up to 40 lbs is expected. You will assist customers, provide product information, help with shipments and merchandising,

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Working knowledge of Windows applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Demonstrated guest/customer service excellence focus.
• Experience handling cash is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction and outstanding service for every customer.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information as required.
• Assist with product shipments and merchandising, including light cleaning of shelves and displays.
• Handle cash and accurately balance the till.
• Comply with Health and Safety rules & Security within the workplace.
• Be a team player contributing to the team's efforts.
