Job summary

The Wine Shop is seeking an energetic teammate to join our sales team in Whitby, Canada. You will focus on delivering a superior shopping experience with guest service excellence and product knowledge.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, handling cash, merchandising, and ensuring health and safety standards are followed. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required, and lifting up to 40 lbs is part of the role.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Experience with computer-based POS systems and cash handling.
• Proficient with Windows applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction and deliver outstanding service to every customer.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information as needed.
• Assist with product shipments and merchandising, including light cleaning of shelves and displays.
• Handle cash and balance the till accurately.
• Comply with Health and Safety rules & security within the workplace.
• Be a team player contributing to the team’s efforts.
