Job summary

The Wine Shop in Whitby, part of Andrew Peller Limited, is seeking an energetic sales teammate to deliver a superior shopping experience. You will assist customers with purchases, share wine knowledge, and help merchandise and stock shelves while maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.

Qualifications include 2 years of customer service, Smart Serve certification, and comfortable cash handling and POS use; you must be flexible to days, evenings, weekends and holidays, and able to

Qualifications

• Demonstrated guest/customer service excellence focus.
• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Experience with computer-based point of sale systems and handling cash.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring total customer satisfaction and outstanding customer service.
• Assist customers with their purchases and provide product information.
• Assist with product shipments and merchandising, including light cleaning of shelves.
• Handle cash and accurately balance the till.
• Complies with Health and Safety rules & Security; team player.

We are looking for a teammate with...

• Demonstrated guest/customer service excellence focus
• Experience working with computer-based point of sale systems and handling cash an asset
• 2 years of customer service experience required
• Smart Serve Certification
• Working knowledge of Windows application including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to consistently lift 40lbs on a regular basis
