Job summary

Andrew Peller Limited's The Wine Shop in Canada is seeking an energetic full-time sales teammate to deliver a superior shopping experience. This on-site role requires friendly service, cash handling, and the ability to assist customers with product information.

You will work days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with opportunities for wine education, staff discounts, and a competitive starting wage. Must have Smart Serve and basic Windows skills.

Qualifications

• Guest/customer service excellence focus.
• Experience with computer-based point of sale systems and cash handling is an asset.
• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Working knowledge of Windows applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to consistently lift 40lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction and outstanding customer service for every customer.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information when required.
• Assist with product shipments and merchandising, including light cleaning of shelves and display units.
• Handle cash and accurately balance the till.
• Comply with Health and Safety rules & Security within the workplace.
• Be a team player who contributes to the team's efforts.
